Ilda Pires approaches design with a fearless and curious mind. Her creative instinct leans toward the unexpected, often finding beauty in irregular forms and drawing inspiration from nature’s complexity and contrast.
She began her journey inside the family business, where she explored every part of the process from production to management. With a background in Sociology, she brought a thoughtful, human perspective to the world of design and gradually shaped the brand’s creative direction.
Over the past three decades, Ilda has developed collections that helped define Serip’s design language. The Eterik collection marked a turning point, followed by others that became brand signatures, including Aqua, Waterfall, Glamour and Bijout. Her last work, the Folio Collection, reflects her ongoing exploration of form, texture and emotion in design.
Beyond her own creations, Ilda is deeply committed in mentoring the next generation of designers at Serip. She helps them connect with their own creative instincts, encouraging a process that begins within, drawing inspiration from their inner voice and translating it into meaningful design. With sensitivity and vision, she supports them through every stage, from the first concept to the final piece.
Through time, Ilda has become a vital presence within Serip, a steady force shaped by experience, intuition, and deep creative vision. Like nature itself, her strength is balanced by delicacy. She remains a central figure in the brand’s evolution, not only through her designs but through the way she continues to nurture its spirit.
