Bruno Matos experiences the world as a delicate choreography of contrasts. For him, beauty isn’t found in resolution but in the tension that holds opposites together. It’s in this in-between space, where clarity and ambiguity touch, that Bruno finds inspiration. His work, much like his way of being, is built on a quiet reverence for balance and the unseen forces that shape our perceptions.
With a Master in Industrial Design from IADE, Bruno joined Serip in 2015. Since then, he has been part of the design team, shaping new creations, adapting existing ones, and developing bespoke projects with a precise and thoughtful eye. His solid experience in 3D modeling strengthens his design process, making it easier to test ideas, refine shapes, and guide them in a more eficiente way through each stage of development. He is also committed to exploring new digital tools and technologies that push creative boundaries and support innovation in both form and function.
There is a raw, intuitive rhythm to how Bruno moves through the world. He studies his surroundings letting meaning unfold naturally, never rushed. Every creative decision he makes is driven by an inner compass tuned to subtle truths. His sensibility is deeply felt rather than overly thought, an ongoing search for authenticity and sincerity, where even contradiction feels whole.
His first collection, Dandelion, expresses that balance. Inspired by the flower’s life cycle, it reflects on impermanence and transformation, reminding us how endings often carry the beginning of something else. With raw, sculptural forms softened by the transparency of glass, it is a collection that speaks both of fragility and force.
